PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Cartography

•     Expert in thematic map design and production following established mapping standards.

•     Published expert on effective map design, graphic communication, and data visualization.

•     Familiar with most conventional mapping and graphic design software, particularly Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Geographic Information Systems

•     Proficient with most ESRI products, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, the 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst extensions, ModelBuilder, and the ArcPy package.

•     Use GIS on a near-daily basis to analyze geospatial, environmental, and statistical data for independent and freelance mapping projects, and to develop classroom materials.
